Palo Escrito
Inside the family of Dalbergias, Palo Escrito is the wood with less density. That’s why this wood is really easy to work with, very steady and light. It has a lighter colour, most of all if we compare this wood with Indian Rosewood.
Regarding to the acoustic issues, Palo Escrito is a wood which offers low and clear tones, and which amplify very good the sounds produced by the fourth, fifth and sixth strings. Speaking about the sound, this wood is similar to Brazilian Rosewood.
Said all this, you couldn’t miss Palo Escrito backs for classic guitar of Maderas Barber, a wood with very special acoustic qualities.
