Necks

Approximated necks dimensions for classic guitar: 650x85x22 mm

When we are creating our own sound with a classic guitar, we can’t forget the heart of this instrument: its neck. Classic guitar has a wider neck than acoustic guitar. But it is still important.

Classic guitar neck has to been built with woods with great stability and resistance, and low density. The appearance of this part of the instrument is also important. That’s why it is usually built with Honduras Cedar: a wood with has all these proprieties.

However, luthiers are increasingly using other different woods in this part of the instrument. In Maderas Barber we know it and we also offer other alternatives like Mahogany and African Mahogany necks.

In addition to raw wood, we also offer finished necks and neck decoration with the goal of improving and making your work easier.
