Advantages of the Bone Nut Pre-Shaped Nut
When a guitar has a plastic nut from the factory, we can improve its performance by replacing it with a bone nut. We will get more tuning stability and better acoustic behavior. The nut comes pre-shaped, but we will have to work it to obtain an optimal adjustment that suits our requirements. It can be sanded, filed and polished to achieve the desired finish.
