Luban Bronze Flat Spokeshave

Highly recommended by luthiers, cabinet makers and woodworkers, these planes offer great precision thanks to their +/- 1.5 thousandth of an inch tolerance grinding and blades made of T10 carbon steel, water hardened to RC63.

In the field of lutherie, spokeshaves are essential tools for working on curved and contoured surfaces. These short-soled planes are specifically designed to shape and refine convex, biconvex, slightly concave, and even flat surfaces after the initial profiling has been done with other hand tools, such as a bandsaw or rasps.

Thanks to their compact and ergonomic design, spokeshaves allow for working consistently along the wood grain, ensuring precise and smooth finishes on complex parts, such as bindings, sides, or necks. Their bronze body ensures durability and strength, while the bubinga handles provide comfort and an excellent grip during use.
