Hard Maple Neck Through Electric Bass (1200x105x50 mm)
Description of the Hard Maple Neck Through Electric Bass (1200x105x50 mm)
The handle is a fundamental part of the instrument due to the tension it must bear from the strings, so when we talk about necks we are always talking about pieces cut with the growth rings as close to quarter sawn as possible, except for some rare exceptions in woods such as hard maple, where the cut is usually flat sawn.
These pieces are not graded by quality and are included in an average quality standard, which means that when selecting them, cracked pieces, pieces with serious defects, or broken and unusable pieces are excluded. Therefore, we will always find healthy pieces that may admit some slight defects, very beautiful pieces and less striking pieces, always within the variations that each wood has in terms of color and growth rings.
