  • Description: The C Engelmann Spruce harmonic tops (Canadian or American) for classic, flamenco or western guitar (dreadnought) are less attractive aesthetically and they have darker red or brown tones. Most of them also will have an acceptable defect to be used, but their acoustic properties will still be good. Very used for guitars with a colored top.

bought for brace wood... may use for soundboard!

I bought two of these sets on sale to try out as top quality bracewood. One of them had quite nice grain, and interesting tone, though. I may just use for a soundboard after all!

On the set of 2 that I received, the wood is very dry. quarter cut, very nice extended resonance for a game and a nice knit. surprised in relation to the price, the first to make a classical or folk guitar and the second for a flamenco guitar because the damping of the resonance is short, hard-hitting.
