At a glance it is possible to appreciate the uniqueness of the designs and colors of this wood. The heartwood is an intense red color interlaced with shades of beige and gray, which characterize this spectacular wood. Like Padauk, this is a very easy wood to work with, which produces a clear and clean sound.

    Bariolé will allow you to build unique and precious guitars, with a striking beauty that will distinguish your instrument from all others.

I initially thought it weighed too much but the finished body actually turned out perfect and lighter than I thought - so perhaps I spoke too soon!. The body turned out stunning and with a padauk neck it is stunning. A beautiful piece of timber and recommend it highly.

Beautiful - better than expected!

Super super nice 2 piece, better than I had hoped in appearance.*Each piece weighed 3.26gr (7lbs 3oz) - that makes the full body blank of 6.2 kg (14lbs 6oz) - so will have to cut each plank so I can do weight relief of some kind.
