Description of the C-116 Backstrip for Guitar Decoration

This wooden backstrip can be applied to decorate and reinforce the union of acoustic guitar backs, as well as the union of the sides. It can also be used as binding, finishing off the edges of the fingerboard and protecting it from impacts.

It will always be applied during the construction process of the instrument, before lacquering or varnishing. To do this we must soak it in order to make it flexible, but always being careful not to unglue its details.
