Bindings, Backstrips and Sides Joint
The Classic Guitar and Acoustic Guitar have evolved in their form, in the selection of the wood, and in the design. Many luthiers and guitar makers build their guitars with very different designs.
One of the most used elements to differentiate instruments, are purflings, joints and strips that decorate the guitar in the backs and sides. These decorative elements are made with high-quality precious woods combined with one or more veneers (usually sycamore veneer) tinted in different colors to create very attractive guitar decorations.
With the system used by Maderas Barber for the production of these decorations you can sand, cut and glue without losing color.
In MB, we have selected a wide variety of purflings, joints and strips of different colors and woods to customize your guitar in different ways.
