- Description: Soft wood, with uneven grains, reddish yellow or brown color, used in cabinetmaking and turnery, as well to make knife handles.
- Wood Description: The heartwood color is pale pink and the sapwood is lighter. The growing rings are well differentiated. It has a lustrous grain.
- Recommendations: During sawing, the dulling is normal, an angle of 20º when brushing is recommended. It has good aptitudes for bending.
- Drying: The drying speed is fast. It presents risks of deformations, so it is advisable to dry it very slowly.
- Uses: Turning, furniture and joinery.
