They have growth rings with a separation between them of 2 to 3 mm, being greater at the ends of the top. They can also have some knot shadow and some marked rings. They are the best sold tops because of their quality / price ratio.

I bought 3 of these tops in a sale for a very low price (less than €20,-/set !).
I wouldn't consider these tops to be of good quality: the annual ring distance varies from about less than a millimeter in the inner part of the tree to more than 5mm on the outer part. I can only use these tops for construction wood...
