These AAA-grade Santos Rosewood FSC 100% sides originate from responsibly managed Bolivian forests, ensuring legal harvesting, biodiversity protection, labor rights and full traceability to the luthier’s workshop.
Known botanically as Machaerium scleroxylon and widely recognised among makers as Pau Ferro, this tonewood offers high density and outstanding dimensional stability. These qualities deliver a controlled and clear response, ideal for acoustic guitar construction.
AAA-grade sets are selected for exceptional visual appeal, featuring expressive figured grain and striking colour transitions. Only pieces with flawless or near-flawless presentation are included, making them suitable for top-tier instruments.
