AA Santos Rosewood FSC 100% Classical Guitar Sides
These Santos Rosewood FSC 100% sides are sourced from responsibly managed Bolivian forests, with certification ensuring legal harvesting, biodiversity protection, labor rights and full traceability to the luthier’s workshop. Certified tonewoods provide reliability and ethical assurance throughout the building process.
Botanically Machaerium scleroxylon, this species—widely recognised by luthiers as Pau Ferro—offers high density and excellent dimensional stability. These attributes give a controlled and articulate response, ideal for classical guitar construction.
AA Grade pieces display balanced colour variation, good uniformity and characteristic areas of figured grain. Minor marks, if present, remain minimal and within the tolerance expected for high-end instruments.
