For classical and flamenco guitars, AA European Picea abies features uniform growth rings, with slight variations in spacing but no abrupt changes, often a bit wider towards the edges of the soundboard. The wood has an even color, radial cut, and is normally free of defects, or with minor ones that do not affect its structure or acoustic properties. These qualities make it highly valued for any string instrument, providing brightness, projection, and tonal stability that improve over time.
