When I was working on this piece of bone, it seemed a bit softer than the bones from Japan that I had used before. I don't know if it's better or worse for the sound, but this soft is better to work with.

Nice smooth bone. It was somewhat softer in processing than the bones from Japan. I'm not sure what it does to the sound, but it makes machining easier.
