Overview of the Tataki-Nomi Chisel 24mm Width Blade Hosco TL-INM24
Japanese 24mm Tataki-Nomi chisel. Steel hardness HRC63 on the Rockwell scale. 225mm. The Tataki-Nomi chisels are Japanese bench chisels, very versatile, used in all types of woodworking, especially in the cutting of mortises due to their great precision. They are small chisels, ideal for working in small spaces.
Why Use Japanese Tataki-Nomi Chisels
They have a very comfortable varnished oak wood handle, designed to minimise hand fatigue when working and with a reinforcement ring at the end to protect it from cracks and splinters when used with a hammer. This 24mm wide chisel provides sharp, clean corners thanks to its precision and, as other Tataki-Nomi, the rear face is concave to minimise friction for smoother surfaces with less effort. It is made of HRC63 hardness steel on the Rockwell scale for precise sharpening and long-lasting sharpness.
