La Guitarra en la Luthería
Language: Spanish
Author: José Ángel Chacón Tenllado
Pages: 110, with numerous color photographs and illustrations, sketches and plans.
- Binding in cardboard 303x215 mm
- ISBN 978-84-616-5147-4
- This book consists of a complete method for the construction of guitars, made with rigor and clarity, where the author combines excellent manufacturing knowledge and the quality of knowing how to transmit them easily.
- Chacón, with a clear pedagogical vocation, expresses all his experience in this manual in which he describes, step by step, the complete process of manufacturing a Spanish guitar, using photographs, sketches and limited plans to expand the information.
- All his knowledge and the processes are explained in a practical, efficient and easily way, very interpretable by the reader. La Guitarra en la Luthería describes in detail all the processes of the construction of guitars: from the selection of wood as a raw material and its treatment, to the construction method and the final application of varnishes and finishes.
- In addition, the manual has a chapter in which he describes tools and elements needed for luthiers. Finally, he ends with a description of a second and more traditional constructive method for making guitars, apart from that described by Chacón in all the book.
