  • Description: Pfeil gouge D series, profile 1, completely flat initation gouge with both sides bevel.
    Straight gouges are used for an initial roughing work in big size areas. Double bevel allows to use them both sides. The initation version has a shorter size, making costs cheaper and making use easier, but also reducing durability.
    The Pfeil D series gouges have a lower length from the rest of the Pfeil gouges, both the handle and the steel blade have a lower length from the professional gouges. Its lower size makes them specially designed for initiation in wood carving and small hand people.
    However, production and material quality are the same as the professional gouges.
