Apple wood is one of those fruitwoods that surprises in the workshop with its warm tone, fine texture and even grain. With a density of 830 kg/m³, it’s compact and pleasant to cut—perfect for detailed shapes and clean volumes.
Botanically known as Malus domestica and native to Europe, it performs excellently on the lathe and in hand carving, offering smooth, precise finishes. Great for turned boxes, sculpted handles, decorative figures or organic shapes. In our store you’ll find fine chisels, neutral oils and soft abrasives to work it gently and accurately.
