Tight European Spruce Tops
Overview Tight European Spruce Tops
European Spruce tops are perfect for building parlor guitars, Portuguese guitars, lutes, or any type of narrower guitar. Their widths range from 185 to 195 mm, while the length and thickness are the same as those of a classical or acoustic guitar. This is a carefully selected standard quality, excluding lower grades like B or C quality, meaning all fall within a medium to high-quality range, including tops graded A, AA, and AAA. Combined with their competitive price, this makes these products highly sought after.
European Spruce is one of the most common woods used in the tops of stringed instruments. It is a slow-growing wood, which gives it a light weight, very good stiffness and exceptional damping qualities.
