  • Description: Padouk, is a red coral-colored wood when freshly sawn, over the years and due to its exposure to air it becomes dark brownish-mauve. The fiber can be straight or slightly interlaced. The grain is thick or rough. The drying rate varies from rapidly to normal. Sawing is easy but requires powerful equipment.
