Curly Ash Back Classical Guitar
This European curly ash back is ideal for classical guitar builders looking for a bold and elegant aesthetic. It includes two pieces sized for traditional classical format.
Curly ash features striking figure and a good balance between stiffness and lightness, making it a great choice for custom projects. As with other medium-standard sets, only clean and healthy backs are selected—no cracks, breaks, or severe defects.
Cut variations are common. Some sets are quarter sawn with strong flame, while others may be partially flat sawn. Though less stable, these can add a visually stunning touch to the finished instrument.
