DESCRIPTION: Mahogany wood is one of the best lumbers in the world. It is good for lathe, carving and engraving work. It is exceptionally stable, lighted with a natural brightness. Mahogany tree has a moderately thick texture. It requires to be filled to get a smooth surface, but it accepts with ease almost all finishes. It responds well to hand tools such as gouges or knives, power tools and all carpentry procedures.
