Description of La Bella 760FS Deep Talkin’ Bass Flats – Standard 45-105
La Bella's Deep Talkin' Bass stainless steel flatwound strings have been the choice of professional bass players since the 1950's and 1960's and remain the standard for the best sounding flatwound strings on the market. They are hand polished stainless steel flatwound strings for an incredibly smooth finish.
Gauges are .045, .065, .085, .105, for long scale basses.
Packaged with MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) technology to prevent tarnishing and ensure freshness.
All La Bella standard bass string sets are long scale. The 1st (G), 2nd (D), 3rd (A) string measures 38" from ball end to silk. The 4th string (E) measures 36 ¾" from the ball end to the silk. Only the silk portion of the string should wrap around the tuning post, otherwise the string will break.
This particular set is not suitable for basses with bridges that require the strings to pass through the body of the instrument.
