The Gibson L-0 1920 Style template is an essential tool from Luthiers Mercantile International (LMII) for guitar builders looking to replicate the exact shape and dimensions of the 1920 Gibson L-0 guitar.

The full-body jig is precisely designed to mirror the contour of the original guitar, with the top truss rods and bridge placement engraved into the jig for easy transfer of the truss rod pattern to the top. The rosette is also cut to allow for easy transfer to the top. This template is made of 3mm thick methacrylate, which is stronger than extruded acrylic.

In addition, high-precision laser engraving on the template ensures accurate reproduction of the shape and dimensions of the original guitar. The jig is useful not only for L-0 guitar construction, but also for sorting wood and for the creation of other jigs and bending shapes in guitar construction.
