Luban No.6 Bench Plane
Luban planes offer excellent value and quality, and are inspired by the standards of historic British manufacturers. Highly recommended by luthiers, cabinet makers and woodworkers, these planes offer great precision thanks to their +/- 1.5 thousandth of an inch tolerance grinding and blades made of T10 carbon steel, water hardened to RC63.
Bench Planer No. 6 has a Bedrock mouth adjustment system, Bubinga handle and stainless steel blade locking cam. It has a 3 mm thick and 60 mm wide steel blade.
This planer is ideal for smoothing and flattening large surfaces such as big panels, large instrument tops and backs, and workbench tops. Its long sole guarantees precision because it does not follow the level changes that a shorter plane would.
