Overview A Indian Rosewood Classical Guitar Backs:
Indian rosewood, scientifically known as dalbergia latifolia, is a highly sought-after hardwood known for its exceptional properties. Native to South Asia, this wood is of immense importance in luthiery.
The most notable property of Indian rosewood is its distinctive and beautiful grain. The wood has a rich reddish-brown color with darker streaks, giving it a pleasing visual appearance. It is also known for its ability to retain its vibrant color even after decades of use and exposure to sunlight.
In addition to its visual appeal, Indian rosewood possesses excellent acoustic qualities that make it highly prized in the musical instrument industry. Guitars, sitars and other stringed instruments made from Indian rosewood produce a warm, resonant sound. This wood is most commonly used in the mid-ranges of both classical and acustic guitars.
How is Indian Rosewood graded?
In the A Grade is where we may find the widest variety of colors, ranging from dark colored pieces with a small defect such as a knots to lighter colored pieces with a more separated grain. There are no major defects.
The density of the pieces is lower than in higher qualities, it is up to the luthier to evaluate its influence on the sound. It is one of the qualities most used by manufacturers and major brands for their guitars.

Las he comprado en varias ocasiones. Una de las veces llegaron con un dibujo que no me parecia acorde a la calidad, y no hubo ningún problema en canviarlas.
