Description of the Fret Saw Guide Hosco H-FSWG
Made of stainless steel, with rubber fingerboard protectors.
How to use the Fret Saw Guide
 Â
The Hosco fret saw guide features a depth adjustment. This can be set with the side wing knobs by sliding the inner body. To use the slide in its highest position, simply adjust it to its lowest position and turn it over. The adjustment slot has a printed scale. Each mark on the scale corresponds to a millimetre depth of cut, and can be adjusted from 0mm to 4.7mm deep.
  Â
At each end of the guide there are Polyacetal protectors with three Neodymium magnets embedded in them. These hold the saw blade against the guide while sawing, ensuring a 90º angle cut.
On both sides of the guide there is a silicone protector to avoid damaging the wood of the fingerboard. When clamping, it is recommended to remove the silicone sheet to avoid damaging the wood.
