Translucent color from the Gibson range. This finish was first used on guitars in 1954, when Gibson introduced it on a Gold Top version. It was chosen because it looked particularly good on black and white televisions of the time. Over the years, its popularity grew, making it one of the most widely used colors of that era.

It has a yellowish appearance that allows the wood grain to show through. However, the final look will depend on the type of wood used and the application process.

Over the last decade, Nitorlack has become one of the leaders in nitrocellulose lacquers, accurately replicating most of the exclusive colors of the major guitar brands. Nitorlack products are used by countless builders around the world, both professionals and amateurs.
