La Bella Jazz Flats® stainless steel strings have been developed by the world's finest jazz guitarists. Each string is hand wound and polished by La Bella's New York craftsmen, resulting in a super-smooth surface that eliminates finger noise and squeaks. They have been optimized with a high magnetic content to increase electronic output, La Bella Jazz Flats® strings have a very bright sound and long life.

Stainless steel flatwound strings, with string gauges: .011, .015, .020W, .028, .039, .050. Each set includes an extra 3rd/G (.018") plain steel string, in case you don't want to install a wound third. Winding length of 31.5” (distance from ball end to silk).

Packaged with MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) technology to prevent tarnish and ensure freshness.

Important installation instructions: install the silk part of the string inside the tuning post, then slowly bring the string to tension/tune. The metal part of the string can now be wound around the post, as long as the silk end is installed inside the tuning hole first.

The strings are produced under the brand names La Preferita, Sweetone, Criterion and New-Tone. The first factory opened in 1914 at 170 Fifth Avenue.
