  • Description: Pfeil Gouge D series, profile 5, initation gouge for semi-flat cut.
    The semi-flat gouges are used for an initial planing work in big areas. They have a slight curvature and they're the most used models. The initation version has a shorter size, making costs cheaper and use easier, but also making its durability shorter.
    The Pfeil D series gouges have a lower length from the rest of the Pfeil gouges, both the handle and the steel blade have a lower length from the professional gouges. Its lower size makes them specially designed for initiation in wood carving and small hand people.
    However, production and material quality are the same as the professional gouges.
