Description of Shellac Sealer 500ml Chestnut

Shellac sealer is the traditional way to seal wood before applying a polish or wax.

This product has a high percentage of real shellac, which means it does its job very well, dissolved in an ethanol solution for ease of application and quick drying.

It can be applied with a cloth, brush or sprayer and dries in about 20 minutes, making it very suitable for the luthier's workshop. It is also very popular with wood turners and brings out the natural grain of the wood very well.

Sand lightly after application and apply Liquid Friction Wax, Polish or any of our waxes on top.

Complies with EN71 Part 3 - suitable for children's toys and instruments, schools, music academies, etc.
