The Brankowood® FSC 100% black headplate, grade A, is a decorative piece designed for the headstock of all types of guitars. It offers a sustainable and stable alternative to ebony, with a homogeneous and elegant look that reproduces its classic aesthetic.
Made from FSC 100% certified Pinus radiata and stabilized with natural resins, this headplate is durable, moisture-resistant, and highly uniform in color. During production, moisture content is carefully reduced to about 5%, ensuring excellent dimensional stability even under changing climates.
Thanks to the homogeneity achieved through stabilization, the Brankowood® headplate offers excellent workability: it sands and finishes easily, reducing the risk of chipping or grain variations. An ideal choice for luthiers seeking a practical, aesthetic, and environmentally responsible solution.
