  • DESCRIPTION: 2 kg is the approximate amount needed to build a guitar. Density 350-410 Kg/m3. White colour. Colour varying from white to pale yellow. Sapwood not clearly demarcated from heartwood. However, heartwood tends to have a pink tone. Straight  grain. Wood fibres vary  from fine to medium. Easy to work, as long as there are no knots presents. Machining,  gluing and the finishing process are easy. Drying process is easy. Hardly present risk of cracks or distortion.
