Master quality Alpine Spruce soundboards for classical, flamenco or western (dreadnought) guitars are tops with slow growth rings from the centre to the edges, with minimal variation between them, cut at 90º or with tiny variation, uniform colour throughout, and normally free of defects or if it has any it will not affect its structure or its acoustic properties.
Practically all the tops of this wood and quality have abundant mirror. These are Top-grade tops with that characteristic shine of the old quality Alpine spruce. They are used for the highest quality guitars. Highly sought after and demanded by luthiers all over the world.
