The Hipshot® tuner upgrade kit for 3+3 tuning pegs has some technical features that make it an effective tool for increasing the stability of your guitar. The UMP™ (Universal Mounting Plate) makes installation a breeze. Since no new holes or modifications are required you can return the guitar to its original state without a trace of having upgraded it, if you wish.

Standard Hipshot tuners fit guitars with 13/32" [10mm] holes in the headstock and have a post length of .827" [21mm].

Includes UMPâ„¢ (Universal Mounting Plate) for 3+3 tuners that fits guitars with 3 tuners on one side. No drilling or special tools are required.

These open gear tuners come with Hipshot model buttons and have an 18:1 turn ratio, making them very accurate tuners. The Grip-Lockâ„¢ option uses a lever and thumbwheel system to lock the string, without having to wind the string around the post.
