The Hipshot® Vintage tuner upgrade kit is a risk-free step to consistent results from your beloved Vintage guitar. The Grip-Lock™ system securely locks the strings so the pitch stays right where you set it. The 11/32" [8.5mm] tuning post shank and UMP™ (Universal Mounting Plate) allow the upgrade kit to be installed on your vintage guitar without modifications to the headstock. In the blink of an eye, your old tuning pegs can be reinstalled with no evidence that they were ever upgraded.

This tuning peg fits guitars with 11/32" [8.5 mm] holes in the headstock.

Includes UMPâ„¢ (Universal Mounting Plate) for 6 in-line tuning pegs. No new holes to drill or special tools required.

Closed gear Hipshot tuners come with hex model buttons, and their turn ratio is 15:1.

Grip-Lockâ„¢ is a pin and thumbwheel system to lock the string, no need to wrap it around the tuner post.
