The UMIK-1 is an omnidirectional measurement microphone individually calibrated, ideal for precision acoustic studies in the workshop. Each unit includes a serial number to download its own calibration file from the manufacturer's website, ensuring a precise and reproducible frequency response.
It connects via USB and is fully plug & play, compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux with no drivers required. Its 6 mm capsule and flat frequency response make it perfect for capturing the vibrational behavior of soundboards in modal, spectral, or impulse response analysis.
As an omnidirectional microphone, it’s important to work in a quiet environment to avoid unwanted noise during measurements.
Includes USB cable, mini tripod, and windscreen. Compatible with software like Room EQ Wizard (REW), offering an affordable and powerful tool for luthiers.
