Necks

The ukulele neck, unlike the classical guitar neck, is much smaller so the tension it causes on the strings is less because the distance between the pegs and the bridge is shorter. Also, the size of the ukulele neck has been related to guitarists or musicians who were more comfortable playing an instrument with a smaller neck, as they could access to the frets much better.

In Maderas Barber we have necks of American Mahogany certified FSC 100%, African Mahogany and Cedar of the best quality to satisfy the demand of our customers.
