Fingerboards

The ukulele fingerboard, as in most of the plucked string instruments, is the part of the instrument that suffers the most wear and tear due to the rubbing of the strings and fingers.

The most commonly used woods for fingerboards are dense woods with a great power of resistance and good acoustic properties. Maintenance is very important in these pieces. One of the ways to achieve greater longevity on our fingerboards is to use special oils to nourish the wood so that it doesn’t break.

Both Ebony and Indian Rosewood not only fulfill this function perfectly, but will also give your instrument a leap in quality due to its many properties and prestige.
