FSC 100% Bubinga Wood for Woodturning and Carving
FSC 100% Bubinga wood combines visual beauty and performance: its deep reddish tone and wavy grain give it a bold and elegant look. With a density between 700 and 910 kg/m³, it’s hard, stable and responds well to sharp tools.
Botanically classified as Guibourtia spp and sourced from Gabon, it performs reliably on the lathe and in hand carving. Great for ornamental bowls, turned handles, solid sculptures or resin-infused pieces. FSC 100% certification ensures it comes from responsibly managed forests. Our store offers durable chisels, finishing oils and adapted abrasives to highlight its striking grain.
