A card scraper is a small, useful hand tool for lutherie work. This tool is a steel blade that can be used to level, even and smooth a variety of wood surfaces.

The card scrapper is especially suited for small, detailed jobs, such as leveling guitar rosettes or matching the profile of the guitar to the sides, top and back.
