This body style is very important in the history of electric basses, as the Precision Bass was the first commercially viable bass in history, designed by Fender in 1951.

Although the original model of the Precision Bass was designed and is still produced by Fender, the term "P-Bass" is used today as a standard to refer to any instrument made according to its basic design of construction and electronics.

The body is one of the fundamental parts of an electric bass, which must be carefully selected taking into account characteristics such as weight, stiffness, acoustic properties and tone, as well as beauty.

At MB Exclusive we use high-tech CNC machines to obtain precise and high-quality bodies. All the necessary holes for the mounting of electronics and hardware, as well as the holes for the neck and bridge screws, are milled into the body.
