Overview Bridge vacuum clamp - classical size:

The Bridge vacuum clamp - classical size allows you to glue a bridge to the soundboard of a guitar quickly and easily. This way, the bridge can be glued without the need for mechanical clamps. The pressure is evenly distributed over the entire surface of the bridge and the risk of metal parts damaging the instrument is greatly reduced.

We recommend an initial vacuum of 5-10 minutes. The process should then be stopped and the excess glue removed. The process can be easily observed and checked through the thin silicone film. Next, maintain the vacuum for another 30-45 minutes.

The vacuum reduces the curing time of water-based glues, such as Titebond. Its dimensions allow it to be used on both small and large guitars.

You will need a device that generates the vacuum, usually through a compressor. It features a translucent, finish-safe, flexible silicone vacuum membrane which aids in the initial setup and provides the ability to monitor your clamping visually. The custom gasket sandwich is made from an industrial closed cell foam (EPDM) bonded to a thin layer of non-reactive film (PTFE). The frame is CNC machined from Richlite - a rigid 100% recycled paper composite made in the USA
