DESCRIPTION: Malaysian Blackwood have attractive dark streaks (called landscape or spiderwebbing), similar to those found in ziricote or cocobolo to name a few examples. The colouring ranges from an intense brown with reddish tones to a greyish green with many shades, crossed by dark lines that provide heterogeneity and appeal to the piece. In addition, in some cases there will also be a light pinkish colour coming from the centre of the trunk.
