This fine copper wire is sourced from the USA and is specially designed for guitar pickup winding.

The enamel coating is a traditional coating used on Humbucker and Fender pickups. This wire produces a rougher sound.

AWG 42 is 0.063 mm thick and is commonly used on Humbucker, Stratocaster and Telecaster bridge pickups.

The amount of wire used depends on the number of coils, the thickness of the wire, and the coating. In general, 250 grams is enough for 2 to 3 humbuckers or 5 to 6 single-coils. 500 g should be enough for 4 to 6 humbuckers and 10 to 12 single coils.
