This copper wire comes from the USA and is specially designed for guitar pickup winding.

The Poly-Nylon coating is commonly used in modern pickups, mainly due to its high consistency.

AWG 43 is 0,056mm thick and require less windings to produce the same resistance. This is commonly used for a.o. Tele neck pickups.

The amount of wire used depends on the number of coils, the thickness of the wire, and the coating. In general, 250 grams is enough for 2 to 3 humbuckers or 5 to 6 single-coils. 500 g should be enough for 4 to 6 humbuckers and 10 to 12 single coils.
