Being water-based, the drying of this acrylic lacquer is a little slower, it takes about twenty minutes to be dry to the touch, but it is practically odorless and non-flammable. It offers an extremely resistant and glossy finish.
If you wish to apply a second coat, you must let it dry for two hours, although a coat of wax can be applied, if necessary, after about thirty minutes.
This product can be sprayed if you have the proper equipment, or it can be applied with a cloth or brush. We recommend using foam brushes for application, as they keep bubble formation to a minimum.
This acrylic lacquer has been tested according to the European standard EN71 Part 3 and is safe for use on toys and nursery furniture, as well as on musical instruments for children, schools, academies...
