The Dark Brown color has historically been known for its use on the back of the Les Paul in the iconic year 1959 and part of 1960, alongside other reddish tones like Cherry. This dark brown shade has also been recently replicated in Gibson’s True Historic series.

Important: Since this is a translucent color, to achieve the same shade as shown in the image, it should be applied over mahogany or a dark-toned wood.
