  • Botanical name: Acer pseudoplatanus
  • Origin: Central Europe
  • Density: 610-680 kg/m3
  • Curly Maple Carved Top for Electric Guitar and Bass is a very good option for those who want to beautify their Guitar Body with a medium thickness (16 mm), perfect to carve and shape the Guitar Body Top and thus recreate the great Carved Tops designs. On the other hand, it allows an easier carving than the thicker ones, reducing the weight of the instrument and of course spendin less money, having at the end a great guitar.

As for the Curly Maple, it is a light yellow-white wood with a density of 610-680 kg/m3. The sapwood is not unlike the heartwood, it is recommended to dry at low temperature chamber, if the drying is done very quickly the wood retains its white tonality, however if done slowly takes on a slightly brown tonality. It has a smooth and uniform texture. It is a wood very easy to work with.
